Pomodoro timer

The Pomodoro Technique is a proven way to stay focused without burning out. You split your work into short, focused blocks — “pomodoros” — separated by short breaks. The classic rhythm is 25 minutes of work and a 5-minute break. After four rounds you take a longer break of 15–30 minutes.
How it works
- Pick one task and ignore everything else for the round.
- Start a 25-minute countdown and work until it rings.
- Take a 5-minute break — stand up, drink some water, look away from the screen.
- After four pomodoros, treat yourself to a longer break.
Short blocks cut procrastination: 25 minutes is easier to begin than “a whole afternoon”. The regular breaks keep your attention fresh all day.
